Writing Bug Reports
After diagnosing a failed test run, TAMI can help streamline the next step in your QA process: documenting the issue. Rather than writing a bug report from scratch, you can use TAMI to automatically generate one with just a click.
👉 When a test fails, click Diagnose Failure to get TAMI to analyse why the test is failing.
👉 Then click Report Bug to generate the bug report.
TAMI will then generate a structured bug report that includes:
- A summary of the failure
- Expected and Actual Result
- Steps to reproduce the error
- Snippet of the test run
This feature saves valuable time, ensures consistency in reporting, and makes it easier for developers to reproduce and address the issue. The generated report can typically be exported, shared, or integrated into your issue tracking tool, depending on your setup.
