Setting up Discord Notification for Jobs

Stay up to date with your test runs by setting up Discord Notifications for scheduled jobs.

You can choose to receive alerts when a test fails or completes, ensuring your team stays in the loop.

For example, if a test fails, you'll receive a message like this:

Failed Job report

1. Create an incoming webhook for Discord

To set up the connection between jobs and your Discord server, you first need to create an incoming webhook:

👉 Open your Discord server and go to the channel where you want to receive notifications.

👉 Click the gear icon next to the channel name to open Channel Settings.

Step 1: Go to Channel Settings

👉 In the left menu, select Integrations > Webhooks.

👉 Click Create Webhook.

Step 2: Go to Integration menu

👉 Give your webhook a name (e.g., "TAMI Notifications") and select the channel to post in.

👉 Click Copy Webhook URL—you’ll need this to connect Discord to TAMI Studio.

👉 Click Save Changes.

Step 3: Name and Copy webhook

2. How to Set up Discord notification

👉 Navigate to the Jobs tab

Jobs Tab

👉 Edit an job or create a new job

👉 Click on the Notifications section.

Configuring Discord Notification

👉 Select when to trigger the notification:

  • A test finishes – notifies on both success and failure.
  • A test fails – notifies only when a test fails.

👉 Set notification to Discord, and paste the webhook.

👉 Click Save to apply your changes.

Once configured, Jobs will automatically send notifications to the specified channel based on your webhook configuration.
